It’s the business W ith inadequate pension pots, and other investment assets a risk, it makes sense that many business owners would look to their business as their key cashflow generator – even though working into old age is itself fraught with uncertainty. So, if planning to carry on running their business, does an olderpreneur’s approach to their role change post-retirement age? By definition, those owner managers have shown a spirit to develop a product or service in the past. Our Forum research showed that nearly a third (30 per cent) had accessed business funding in the past. A further third of those who accessed funding also said they’d had a funding application rejected by a lender in the past.
